The Florence Bravo episode of Tales from the Darkside stars Lori Cardille in the role of Emily McCall. Lori is the real-life daughter of Bill Cardille. Bill is known to many as "Chilly Billy," the host of the Chiller Theatre television program that aired in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area from 1963 to 1983. Bill and his daughter Lori both had previous connections with Darkside producer George A. Romero - Bill had played the role of the Field Reporter in Night of the Living Dead (1968) and Lori had played the lead role of Sarah in Day of the Dead (1985).
