Summary
While covering a story about a war between two rival crime organizations, Carl Kolchak stumbles upon the supernatural once again. Trivia
This episode marks the first of three appearances by the character Gordon "Gordy the Ghoul" Spangler. Gordy is a morgue attendant who runs a lottery based on the birth years of the corpses brought into the morgue. Gordy's job and greed make him an ideal informant for Kolchak. He also appears in the episodes They Have Been, They Are, They Will Be... and The Youth Killer. Gordy was portrayed by actor John Fiedler who also had appeared in the Twilight Zone episode Night of the Meek.
