Edgar Allan Poe Theater > Annabel Lee
Annabel Lee was the last poem written by Edgar Allan Poe and was first published two days after his death. As with The Raven, the poem explores the loss of a great love. While the inspiration for the poem may never be known, it surely is not a coincidence that Poe lost his own wife, Virginia, just two years before. The Cabinet Productions is proud to bring you this streaming audio presentation of the poem, along with the original text. We do hope you enjoy it.
