I was watching MTV2 tonight when this music video comes on called Stop DJ by this guy called Robbie Williams. At first it looked like another Ricky Martin wanna be. He danced around and took his shirt off while women were rolling skating around him.
Then the video became funny because you realized Robbie Williams is actualy making fun of him self when he looks disapointed because non of the women react or even notice him. He then proceeds to completely strip (thank god for digital frosting) while shaking his groove thing but the women still arn't noticing him.
Then the video becomes really cool as Robbie Williams, in a last ditch effort to get the women to notice him, starts pealing away chunks of his skin and tossing the blood splattered chuncks of flesh into the roller skating girls arms. This finaly gets the girls attention and they look like they're starting to like him now.
Pretty soon he looks like Skinless Frank from Hellraiser strutting his stuff. Liking the positive reaction that he's getting from the skating women, he starts ripping the muscle tissue from his body and tossing those out to the women. Blood is splattering into their smiling faces as they catch the wet chunks of flesh! It's surprisingly disgusting and I have to say that I did not see the video heading in this direction.
It ends with Robbie Williams as a bloody skeleton dancing around while blood splatered, meat carying women skate around him. MTV could sure use more music videos like this one! Check it out if you ever get the chance.

Yea I love that video but I never see it anymore. Robbie is awesome he's so full of arrogance. I was watching MTV Cribs and at the end he said "If i've offended anyone during the filming of this program..I don't really care, because i'm extreamly wealthy"
He's so awesome.

Robbie likes his women loose.
I'm sure everyone has seen the Aphex Twin video come to daddy with the demonic goblin children running around or the window licker vid with the bu fugly girls groovin as if to a hip hop vid. Does anyone know the director person's name? Or what else he's done?

I haven't seen them, but I would like to. I just saw the first video I was talking about (with him ripping his skin off at the roller rink) on MTV's BAD VIDEOS BY GOOD ARTIST. All I have to say is that I thought it was a damn fine video. Maybe I just didn't get why it was bad because I'm not a second rate celebrety like Pauly Shore.

Yesterday on MTV 2 Robbie had a short interview clip talking about running through the hotel screaming while still wearing the make up from the video. I grabed a tape and through it in the VCR, and sure enough, the video came on right after the interview and now I have it on video! Can't wait to show this one to my friends.

Yea, the music video channels in the states leave a lot to be desired.
VH-1 plays mostly shows like Behind The Music, Pop Up Video, and other music type shows. All though these shows are actualy pretty good, that only leaves the middle of the night (in the A.M.) to play music videos and they're usualy videos like Shianna Twain, Santana, Celine Dion, and other "adult" type stuff.
MTV is nothing but shows like The Real World, MTV Cribs, Undressed, and a bunch of other crap (although Jack Ass & Celebrety Death Match are pretty cool). Like VH-1, you have to stay up untill 3 A.M. to see any music videos and it seems like it's either rap or rap-metal. Not worth staying up for if you ask me.
Then some of us get MTV 2, which so far, is nothing but music videos. This seems like it's mostly rap music, then the metal rap, and every once in awhile if you turn it on at just the right moment, you might get something cool. It's a crap shoot though.
I realy mis the old Night Flight show that used to be on USA. They played alot of different things and introduced me to groops like The Residence while still playing much of the popular stuff. If MTV survives for a hundred years, it will never be as cool as Night Flight was.

I miss the old USA Channel show "USA's Saturday Nightmares". That show was cool. Horror flicks every saturday night. I even saw Slugs on that show for the first time. Too bad the USA Channel sucks now.
