I bought White Zombies' La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Vol.1 last week. It's my first White Zombie album and I thought I would share my thoughts.

I really like their sound. I can only describe it as Heavy Metal dance music. However, it really bugs me that I can't understand one single garbled word on the intire album. Because of this, all the music on the disk runs together in my head, and if it wasn't for the little sound bites between the songs, I wouldn't know where one song ends and the other begins. Any one else have this problem? Is this just this one album or do all their CDs have the same garbled, run together sound?

I only have the Rob Zombie Hillbilly CD and I realy like it. I think Heavy Metal Dance is a good description. Some of the songs do sound similar but the best ones tend to stand out, like Dragula and Living Dead Girl. Kind of think of it, those two songs sound pretty similar. I'll have to check out some White Zombie to compare.
