Hey every body!
I have some horror Christmas songs to add to the list!
The person or persons in the previous post named "One Shot Horror Songs update # 2," who mentioned the song from the Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas as being sung by Boris Karloff, well, Karloff did do the nararation of said holliday cartoon, however, the song You'r A Mean One, Mr.Grinch was sung by the talanted voice artist who goes by the name of Thurl Ravenscroft, better known as the voice of Tony The Tiger of the Kellogs Corn Flakes fame.
Thurl Ravenscroft - You're A Mean One Mr.Grinch
Also, I bought Tales From The Crypt: Have Yourself A Very Scary Little Christmas on CD today. The songs are...
Crypt Keeper - Deck The Halls With Parts Of Charlie
Crypt Keeper - Juggle Bills
Crypt Keeper - We Wish You'd Bury The Missus
Crypt Keeper - Moe Teitlebaum
Crypt Keeper - A Christmas Card For The Crypt Keeper
Crypt Keeper - Christmas Rap
Crypt Keeper - Crypt Keeper's Family Christmas
Crypt Keeper - 'Twas The Night Before Christmas
Crypt Keeper - Twelve Days Of Cryptmas
Crypt Keeper - Revenge Of The Cryptkeeper
Crypt Keeper - Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
Crypt Keeper - Should Old Cadavers Be Forgot

Hi everyone!
I was in a store today and I saw a CD called Casper's Christmas. It's a soundtrack to the newest Casper The Ghost movie. I like cartoon music and stuff, but I'm a little leary of this one! Anyone hear this or see the movie and tell me if the CD is worth buying?

I don't know about Casper's Christmas but I just heard Drew Barrymore sing in a Christmas Cartoon called Olive The Other Reindeer and that turned out to be a very scary sounding Christmas song! She better keep her day job.

One of the earliest such tunes appropriate for this season is "Monster's Holiday" by Bobby "Boris" Pickett, and its remake by none other than Lon Chaney, Jr. There are two LPs that came out in the 60's, shortly after Monster Mash: "A Merry Monster Christmas" by Len Maxwell (1964), has songs and comedy sketches. "Monster Christmas Mash," which is a Peter Pan kiddie monster LP (written by Arthur Korb) with a lame story but songs that are suitable for the season, including the title song. Then there is "Reggae Christmas Eve in Transylvania," on the Count Floyd LP. "I Am Santa Claus," a take-off on Iron Man, on a Bob Rivers Christmas CD. Weird Al does a song called "the Night Santa Went Crazy" on Bad Hair Day. King Diamond does "No Presents for Christmas," the evilist Christmas song I've heard. I've got a CD called Dark Side of the Christmas Tree that has a brief but tremendous distorted instrumental version of a classic Christmas carol, titled "Silent Fright." "The Bite Before Christmas" is a poem delivered by the Cool Ghoul on his Phantasmagorical Funky Fonograf Record. The Tales from the Crypt CD is one of my favorite Christmas CDs.

Bob Rivers does a song called I Am Santa Claus
which is a parody of Iron Man. Very humorous.

There is a song on the end credits of Jack Frost 2: Revenge Of The Mutant Killer Snow Man called Merry Christmas Baby by Chris Anderson.
Also, Christmas In Hell by Satan in the Mr. Hankey Christmas Special from South Park.
