Alright. Did anyone else ever hear a song that you loved and thought kicked ass, only to try and find it but have no luck? I've had this happen way too many times.
The Darkest Side Of The Night - (Metropolis) Friday the 13th: Jason Takes Manhattan
Theme from 'Hell Night' (according to imdb) - Opening credits Hell Night
Up There - (Mark Ryder and Phil Davies) - Closing credits The Unnamable
Love Is A Lie (Lion) - Friday the 13th The Final Chapter
I also, around 1995 (before the luxury of having the internet) spent hours going in and out of record shops looking for the Pet Sematary 2 soundtrack only to find out years later that it NEVER EXISTED. A few ones I always loved were "Love Never Dies" by - oh yeah - Traci Lords that to this day I still haven't found. This is the one during the "sex scene" with the father where his dead wife turns into a wolf. Also, "Fading Away" by Jan King during the burial of Zoe.
Same thing with the non-existent Night of the Demons soundtrack. The only thing readily available was Stigmata Martyr by Bauhaus. I used to watch the end credits just to hear "The Beast Inside".
A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master. I remember as far back as fourth grade loving the music in this one. I even found the double soundtrack on cassette to 3 and 4, but it turned out to be only instrumental. At the time, I loved the opening theme, sung by the movies star Tuesday Knight. Sinead O'Connor, Vinnie Vincent Invasion, Dramarama, The Divinyls.. I can, to this day, remember exactly which scene each song is from. It wasn't until a few years ago someone was nice enough to send me a burned cd that they put together. |

| The Alice Cooper werewolf flick Monster Dog has an uncredited appearance of half of "The Raven" by the Alan Parsons Project. It was decades before I found out who made that tune. I thought at first it might be another unreleased Alice Cooper song. After many years of hearing just the first half as a lead in to Cooper's "See Me in the Mirror", I finally got to hear the whole thing. I have it on my MP3 player now. |

I have the Alan Parsons Project album on vinyl that has that Raven song on it. It's a concept album based on the works of Egar Allen Poe. I picked it up on a cut out table for like two bucks back in the 80's.
I would love to find a soundtrack to the anthology movie "Night Train To Terror." It has this 80's looking band between stories that sing this song called 'Everybody But You' that is so terrible that it's great. I doubt this movie ever had a soundtrack release. IMDB lists the songs as...
