Just finished watching this movie for the 1st time as it was mentioned on the board quite a few times in the last month. It was a nice little movie, nothing spectacular, but not the typical cookie cutter movie of the 80's and the ending had me surprised as hell. Glad to have finally seen it.
Also watched CHUD today, more of a typical by the numbers movie where I knew exactly what was going to happen next but the acting wass actually pretty good. Daniel Stern did a pretty convincing job. While I would still consider it a b-grade movie, it was cool to see once. I think i'll stay away from CHUD @-Bud the CHUD though as I saw this on tv once and wasn't impressed too much.(Actually I wasn't overly impressed with the 1st one that much but it killed some time).
Zombies currently walk the Earth-be on the lookout.

Yeah, the "Happy Birthday" movie was something different. How about the shishkabob skewer scene? Wasn't that a doozie?

My favorite films have always been zombie films, and I recently saw a copy of Fulci's "City Of The Walking Dead" on DVD at Suncoast.

QUESTION:Is this a separate movie or does it have something to do with the "Gates Of Hell" series?

Just wondering, as I intend to pick this one up sooner or later depending on what it's about.

Any help here is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Shawn

Do you mean City of the LIVING Dead or Walking Dead? Living is a Fulci film and was previously known in the US as Gates of Hell. City of the Walking Dead is an Umberto Lenzi film and I like it a lot more than Fulci's film. Hope this helped.

By the way Happy Birthday to Me kicks a**! One of my favorite slasher films.
