I remember this film premiering on TV in 1973 or 74' when I was about 11.
I wanted to stay up to see it, and needless to say I spent the rest of the night afraid to do anything.
My dad hollered cause' the lights were on and I was wasting electricity, but I didn't care:
I wasn't about to let them drag me off. (you know how little kids think).
But, the worst was yet to come, cause even though my parents told me "Don't be Afraid Of The Dark", they never failed to warn me about what waited for me "Beyond The Door".
Pleasant dreams,
Shawn.
Oh yeah, by the way, the woman they killed in the movie was Kim Darby, whose film credits included "True Grit" with John Wayne, an episode of 1960's Star Trek called "Miri", AND one of the Halloween movies. I think it was #8.
