If you've seen the original, then for God's sake don't rent the remake. It's the exact same movie minus the atmosphere and chemistry of Hitchcock's original. It's like eating a cheap frozen pizza-it'll fill ya, but it's a far cry from the real thing. Me and my stupid analogies...
