So I watched the Lars von Trier movie, Antichrist.
***SPOILERS***
This film has some really shocking scenes throughout, but manages to be extremely dull in-between. It opens with a very impressive, yet very tragic shot of a small child falling out of an apartment window in slow motion, and ends with a woman giving herself a clitoridectomy with a pair of scissors. Ouch. Lots of symbolism and weirdness. Lots of graphic nudity, including Defoe's best buddy standing at attention. Sadly, I couldn't tell William Defoe's ugly ass from the chick's. I just don't care enough to watch it again to try and figure out all the symbolism. Just an off putting and ugly film.
