The new remake stars Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger, I honestly have to say that was the best move New Line could ever do to reboot the franchise. |

Too bad it's being done by the idiots over at Platinum Dunes. |

What are you talking about, deckard? I have complete faith in the team that gave us The Hitcher and Friday the 13th: Jason's Weed. _________________ This feeling inside me

| Besides the iconic moment when the real original Nightmare on Elm Street came out. Thanks but no thanks. Don't think you are going to find the love for the movie you are looking for here. |

Robert Englund would be too old to play Freddy at this point anyway, wouldn't he? Or is that your point?
I laughed out loud when I read that Billy Bob Thornton was set to play Kreuger at one time. That was a bizarre choice to say the least. |

I personally think Robert Englund is never too old to play Freddy...I don't care if Freddy's wheelchair-bound and can't remember who he's dream stalking. _________________ Happiness is only a Bruce Campbell/Ted Raimi threesome away...sigh. |

Haha!
Freddy: "I'm here to stalk your dreams, Harriet!"
Martha: "I'm not Harriet. My name's Martha."

LoL..Rob.
I agree with everyone, i dont care who is playing Freddy, Robert Englund is always Freddy. I just can sleep well knowing that he is not going to smudge his already lucrative career by putting the glove on again. No Platinum Dune love here, either.

| OK. What is Platinum Dunes (sounds like a Jenna Jameson movie title to me) and why is it the object of so much derision? |

| They are the production company that has been responsible for most of the horrible horror remakes. Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Amityville Horror, Friday the 13th and the new Nightmare on Elmstreet. Let me know if I missed one. Plus it is owned by Michael Bay, which is enough reason right there to hate. |

Dear God, no wonder all the crap is going on. Maybe there should be a production company called Remake Pictures, and the symbol should be Jenna Jameson's platinum dunes. Im all for that.
