I was just wondering if anyone has seen a couple of new horror movies that were just released on vhs this past week:
1) "The Spring" - starring Kyle McLachlan from "Twin Peaks". The previews looked okay for this one.
2) "Premonition" - starring Christopher Lloyd
However, I did rent a new release called "Apartment Complex" w/ Chad Lowe and Trya Banks. I think it was originally on Showtime. Chad Lowe takes over this apartment complex that has all these weird tenants. The pool is really dirty and there's something in their so he drains the pool and finds "something" startling. The cops are on his case thinking he's a killer, etc....
Overall I'd rate the movie *1/2 stars. It wasn't that good and not very scary.
Kyle Maclachlan was also in a really cool sci-fi film called "The Hidden" in the 1980's.
He was also in this episode of TV's "Tales From The Crypt" where he was a prisoner who failed in his escape attempt,(he cuts his own hand off) who winds up getting eaten up by a buzzard at the episode's end.
I've seen "Apartment Complex" for rent, but never really had the urge to see it, although I must admit that I have a fondness for Tyra Banks and her lovely form, he, he, he.....
