Here's one for ya'!
Remember a heavy metal horror film back in the 80's called "Rocktober Blood"?
It was kind of like "The Creature With The Blue Hand" with Klaus Kinski in the fact that one of the twin brothers was a murderer.
This had some cool music and a riot of an ending during the horror show the band was putting on.
This, coupled with "Trick Or Treat", (loved that movie) makes you wonder what all the parents are worried about.
After all, it's only rock and roll, right?...
he he he he he!

I actualy bought this one a while back (found it for 3 bucks) I thought a couple songs were realy bad but I really enjoyed some of the others. I had posted on the music board if any one knew if there was ever a sound track or if the performers in the movie ever put out a real album, but alas, I never got a response.

Man I haven't seen this one in so long. I'm thinking it's time I check it out again. All I remember is a rock star who may or may not be dead and is killing people for no apparent reason. The end was pretty cool at the concert where he killed the ladies on stage and the audience thought it was fake. One thing I didn't get though...how come on the movie's box cover it shows the killer wearing that skull mask yet in the film he never wears any kind of mask whatsoever (didn't he just have face paint?).

He actually did have a mask on at the end, at least I THINK he did......
I think you might be thinking about "Terror On Tour" which is probably WAY out of print now. I'll have to check.
The band in "TOT" had face paint, as did the undead band in John Beuchler's "Hard rock Zombies".
THAT one was a riot! Check out this one if you haven't!

Yeah, I always wondered about that myself, and ask myself from time to time where they are now.
A couple of the songs were a bit on the cheesy side, but there were some cool ones.

No I'm positive it was Rocktober Blood. I see the box at my video store all the time when I'm browsing through the aisles. You're right about the ending now that I think about it. He did have the mask on, but I was anticipating him wearing it throughout the whole film.
