I just posted an article about one of my favorite writers over at the Vintage Horror site. William Hope Hodgson's work influenced many including H.P. Lovecraft. He led an exciting life including a famous run-in with the famous escape artist, Harry Houdini. Check it out if you get the chance. There is also a possible connection to one of his creations and the TV show LOST.
