Okay, I think I can tell all you guys about my good news that I heard about a few weeks ago.
My short story, "The Gray's Finger" won second place in HorrorFind's "Weird War Tales" contest. I was pretty shocked. They had over 420 story submissions and although I was pretty proud of the story I thought that I didn't have a chance. Anyway, I signed the contract a few days ago and I'm thinking that it will be posted on HorrorFind's website some time after WHC.
Also, my first short story "Jean" which first appeared on the HorrorFind website last year is going to be in the anthology THE BEST OF HORRORFIND coming out in August, hopefully in time for the Baltimore Weekend of Horror. This will be my first print publication if you don't count the tribute in Cemetery Dance.
So, that's my good news. I'm pretty excited and can't wait to see them published.

Heartfelt congrats are due Mr. SA! You deserve to be excited. I look forward to reading your contribution to horror literature. Keep up the good work. If your writing is as fine as your moderating it must be good stuff.

All right, well these will probably be my last few posts for awhile. I have to get ready for WHC and I hop onto a plane tomorrow morning. Once I get back I'll let everyone know how it went.
