I have been reading this message board for the last four months. This is the first time that I have ever put my thoughts here. I am almost certain that this board has more passion for dementia than any other site that I've ever come across. If anyone has any other horror-fiction websites that are worth going to, then please share.

And thanks to the writers of this board, i have discovered great books like The Nameless, The Black Dahlia, Church of the Dead Girls, The Girl Next Door, and The Stand.

Barry,

Mr Self Affliction rules this board with an iron glove and the results are evident. I'd have to say that it is TIED for best board. I modeate the other one. At least I did until last week. I was at horror.net and the people were TERRIFIC there. Unfortunately, the owner of horror.net pulled the plug and it is down. We are in the progress of starting a new one very soon. I'll tell everyone here where and when it will be.

Barry-

That is one of the best compliments you can give a community of horror fans... we're passionate and opened your eyes to great fiction. Thanks so much! That's exactly the reason I started posting here and wanted to be a part of everything. I've never been disappointed by the level of class, intelligence, and integrity I've found in the people here.

Mark-
What a shame! I really enjoyed reading your message board. It always had interesting counterpoints to this one, and it was amusing to compare the differences in related conversations between the two boards. Be sure to keep us posted on when the new one goes up. We'll be extra nice to any horror.net refugees you send our way Wink

Thanks again, Jon. We're working on it. It could be up any day or perhaps as much as a week from now. I HOPE it takes no longer than that. As I said, I'll keep everyone informed.

I just realized that I didn't mention horror.net in my above post--so I must reiterate what Mark and Jonathan have already said. Horror.net is a great board and I hope that it gets up and about any day now. Mark, I sent a check yesterday so I hope that helps.
