Hey, I've read that! I was rather surprised a few years ago when I ran across a paperback by the screenwriter of Hellraiser 2. I had read about him in Fangoria. So, I bought it and it turned out to be pretty good.
Hi, Mr. Self Affliction. I just thought I'd nose around here for a while.

Ah Mark, you've tracked me down.
Everybody here should listen to what this man has to say, he really knows his horror.
Hope you pop by more often.

Sieber...haven't I read some books by you?...Si...no, Strieber, Whitley Strieber, my mistake.
Any friend of MSA is a friend of mine and we need all the experienced personell we can get. Soon this place will be a major hangout for the big uns out there.
See, Mr. Self Affliction? Mark Sieber, "a guy who knows his horror" has of course read MORNINGSTAR! I'll bet the only morningstar most other people are familiar with is Lucifer.
Thanks for the positive input on "my" novel, Mark. MORNINGSTAR - Soon to become a major motion picture in the mind of Thomas Nordahl!
I'll make this my first read when I get it.
I'm actually gonna make it my mission to write an extensive review on this on when I'm finished with it. Normally I hate writing reviews but that's 'cause I'm lazy and rather shoot outa my mouth instead. But I think I'm gonna try with this one just to prove it to myself I can do it...even though it means I'll have to be away from the message board a couple've days.

Mark's the moderator of the books section over at www.horror.net Another site I regularly visit. He comes in contact with all sorts of great authors in the field. I actually had the pleasure to meet Mark and his wife Tanya at this year's Dragon Con. He introduced me to Joe Christ (Nancy Collins' crazy filmmaker husband) and we had a blast.
And Fenny, Can't wait to read your review.

Actually, I've read it too. It had a bright red color, kind of the same shade of red as, oh... I don't know,...SATAN!?

You're right now that I think about it, Layback. The lurid redness of this cover can definitly be traced to Satan or related hedonistic institutions. Maybe a pun from the publishers?!!!
