My question is, "What did?". I vaguely remember there was a show where people would go into this diner and end up somewhere else when they left. It was on a major network (NBC) in the Eighties or early Nineties for a very short run then it fell of the face of the Earth. I don't think I dreamt it.
The show was Nightmare Cafe and was from none other than Wes Craven. In fact, Robert Englund also starred in it. It only made it six episodes before NBC pulled the plug on it.
