One of the scariest "made for tv" horror movie specials. Came out around 1976. Story goes like this:
Woman's son dies in an accident. Woman misses her son so much she does some sort of satanic thing to bring him back. Son returns but is not seen, only she hears his voice. He chases her around a large spooky house and in the end scares the crap out of her and the audience.
The son's name is "Bobby," and I think that was the name of the show. This may have been part of a "trilogy of terror." Came out about the same time as the Karen Black "Trilogy of Terror," which has been rerun many times, but Bobby has never returned. Maybe it was too scary?!?!?!
Anybody remember it. Know how/where to get it?
I am not sure if it is a re-make..for I have never seen a 1970's version of it.. but "Bobby" is from Trilogy of Terror 2. It is the 2nd story. You can buy it on VHS
The original Trilogy of Terror, with Karen Black didnt include "BOBBY". If there is an original version, of BOBBY, I would like to see it.
The "Bobby" story in TRLOGY 2 is a remake of a story in DEAD OF NIGHT,Dan Curtis' followup to the original TRLOGY.I believe that MPI video still sells it(they being the company that puts out a bunch of Curtis stuff)so i suggest looking up their website.Hope that helps,guys.
