The Haunted Farm
This Halloween haunted attraction located just outside Moorhead, Minnesota and Fargo, North Dakota has been in the business of scaring its guests for over fifteen years. The haunt was started by Mel Nygaard as a simple horse-drawn hayride and remained a family business ever since. In 2001, the attraction drew in 8,000 guests and that number has been growing ever since. Each year, the Nygaard family goes through the steps of reinventing and expanding their family haunt to offer their visitors something new each Halloween season.
The Attractions
There are fifteen different set pieces in the Haunted Farm that take an average of 45-minutes to explore in the guided tour. Visitors will see some of the favorite horror scenes brought to life in such stops as the haunted house, Egyptian Pyramid, Out Home, Country Cabin, Madman Morgue, cemetery, Gold Mine, Killer Cave, Insane Clown Room, and many more. Along side dark and twisted maze, the attraction also offers up a swirling vortex, large bonfire, and concession stands for visitors.
