Actor Matthew McGrory is interred within the Saint Peter and Saint Paul Cemetery in Springfield, Pennsylvania. Mcgrory's height of 7 foot 6 inches and distinct appearance were the result of a medical condition known as acromegaly. Acromegaly causes abnormal skeletal growth among other symptoms.

McGrory's physical appearance and tallness led to an acting career. He endeared himself to horror fans as the character Tiny in the Rob Zombie films House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects. He also appeared on the TV shows Carnivale and Charmed, a Marilyn Manson music video and the zombie film The Dead Hate the Living.

Matthew McGrory died at the age of 32 apparently due to his medical condition. Among other symptoms, acromegaly causes an enlarged heart.
