Blue Orb Ghost Tours is Savannah's newest paranormal attraction and was founded by paranormal investigator, historian and publisher Tobias McGriff. Tobias has consulted other tour companies, paranormal research groups and media outlets covering the paranormal for over 10 years including T.A.P.S. and Scariest Places on Earth.
Blue Orb offers 4 different tours with 3 convenient start times 7pm- 9pm- and for those seeking late night fun-Midnight. Most tours are located in the beautiful Historic District. Most tours are $20 with the exception of the Midnight Tour ($35) and the Bonaventure Cemetery Tour ($25) which runs daily at 2pm. The tours typically last 2 hours and are leisurely paced with seating, stops and photo ops along the way. Topics include Hag Phenomena, Shadow People, Reverse Exorcisms, Mercer House, Sorceress Alice Riley, Hampton Lillibridge House, 1790 Inn, Bone Collectors and Secret Cemeteries.
Blue Orb keeps stories on the tour fresh and up to date by using area residents, historians and the result efforts of its own investigation group "Savannah Paranormal" which provides customers with the ability to investigate locations that have contacted Savannah Paranormal for consultation. Most recently Blue Orb Tours/Savannah Paranormal investigated an area spa where an employee had recently quit and the owners son would not enter certain areas of the establishment due to the frequent paranormal activity. All equipment and training is provided before the investigation and support and data analysis is offered after the tour at no extra cost. Investigation fees are $40 per attendee and last approximately 3 hours.
