The Blob
This site was used as a filming location in the 1958 sci-fi horror film The Blob. At the time the building was a market. In the movie, the characters of Steve and Jane hide in the meat locker of the store to escape the Blob. IT is here that Steve discovers that the Blob is vulnerable to cold. The building has been split up into a Sly Fox Restaurant & Brewery as well as other seperate stores in the time since.
