The Lincoln Assassination
The Chicago Historical Society houses artifacts from the assassination of American President, Abraham Lincoln. Items in the collection include clothing worn by Mary Lincoln the night her husband was shot, as well as the bed that Lincoln died on, and even the hair cleaned from the bullet wound.
