The York Dungeon
Located at 12 Clifford Street, York YO1 9RD, the York Dungeon is a horror theme park that explores the dark history of the city from the same company behind London Dungeon. It opened in 1986 and features recreations, special effects, animatronics, and countless exhibits that revels in the macabre history of York. Subjects include the Dick Turpin, Guy Fawkes, vikings, the Plague, and vampires. Additionally, patrons are treated to the Labyrinth of the Lost Roman Legion, Implements of Tortute, Ghosts of York and Judgement of Sinners.
