The Blob
This elementary school in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania was used as the high school in the sci-fi horror film The Blob (1958). In the film, Steve McQueen's character (ironically named Steve) discovers that the creature is vulnerable to cold. He and his friends steal fire extinguishers from the school to use against the Blob.
