Information
The City Park
This small park in Astoria, Oregon was used in the opening scenes of the 2005 horror sequel, The Ring Two. In the scene, the characters of Jake (Ryan Merriman) and Emily (Emily VanCamp) are sitting on the swings on their first date when Jake attempts to lure her back to his place to show her something. The duo then moves on to his home (at an unknown location - possible on a soundstage) where Jake attempts to get Emily to watch the cursed tape in an attempt to save himself from the curse.

The Park Today
Only the swing set is featured in the film and the rest of the park is obscured by the dark, as the scene was filmed at night. The park can be found at the intersection of 8th and Franklin in the city of Astoria.
