Rebecca Nurse
This is the former home of Rebecca Nurse, one of the victims of the Salem Witch Trials. She was executed by hanging in July of 1692.
Danvers Alarm List Company
This historical reenactment society preserves the homestead as a museum and use it as a staging ground for their various reenactments.
Family Burial Plot
A memorial dedicated to Rebecca is in the family burial plot on the property. Her remains were retrieved by loved ones and buried in secret... most likely here on the property. Witch Trial victim George Jacobs is also buried in this plot. His remains had been dug up and placed in storage since the 1950's. The Danvers Alarm List Company and Salem Village Witchcraft Tercentennial Committee of Danvers buried George Jacobs' remains again here in 1992.
