Salem Witch Trials
In this cemetery lies Ann Putnam Jr., the leader of the ring of girls who started the Salem Witch Trials. Ann would later apologize publicly for her role in the hysteria. Her mother, Ann Putnam Sr., also made accusations during the trials and is like-wise buried here.
