Information
The Location
In 1949, this was one of three locations where an exorcism was performed on a young boy from Washington D.C..  These series of exorcisms would later serve as the inspiration for William Peter Blatty's The Exorcist, which would become an instant bestseller and would be later turned into a blockbuster movie.  The old rectory where the exorcisms took place has since been torn down.
