Champ
Lake Champlain is home of Champ, the lake monster. Over the years there have been many reported sightings of Champ, making it the most notorious of all of America's many legendary lake monsters.
Sunken Ships
Lake Champlain also holds the wreckage of over 300 sunken ships, including the Water Witch. The Water Witch sank in 1836 and is incredibly intact for the length of time that it has been under water. The lake offers scuba divers the opportunity to explore a large number of spooky underwater shipwrecks.
