The Fear at Frontier haunted attraction is currently shutdown and there has been no mention of its possible return. Frontier Field
Frontier Field exists in the heart of the city in Rochester, New York (see Rochester, New York). It is the minor league baseball stadium where the Rochester Red Wings play. The stadium was built between 1995-1996 and had its first game ever in 1997. Rumor has it that while digging into the soil they uncovered human remains where the 3rd base now sits. ESPN did a thorough search with paranormal investigators in an attempt to find spirits. Many pictures were taken and some photographs caught foggy apparitions and hundreds of circled orbs.

Fear at Frontier
Eventually Labeau Productions captured an idea to turn the Frontier Field concourse into a haunted house site during the Halloween season, of course after the baseball season was over. It was in 2003 when Fear at Frontier opened its iron gates to the terror that lurked inside the walls. Fear at Frontier today consists of four houses, each house with a different personality. The houses twist and curve with never ending hallways and blackouts when the eyes are not prepared. There is a tour guide in front of every house making sure that the rules are applied. The general rules are, don't touch the ghouls and they will not touch you back, no pushing or shoving there is enough time for everyone to experience the horror, and if anyone were to feel nauseous at anytime find the nearest ghoul and they will point you to an immediate exit. There is food and refreshments available in between several houses to stay entertained while waiting in line. Here are the houses and the detail to find before you enter.

The Mummy's Curse
The first house in Fear at Frontier is called The Mummy's Curse. Explore the inner reaches of an uncharted Egyptian tomb. Encounter dangerous perils as you traverse the deteriorating chambers erected thousands of years ago to preserve the soul of an ancient mummy. Never before has anyone dared to reach the final resting place of Khepri-Nekhekh. Khepri-Nekhekh was discovered recently be accident when a member of the production team of Ranenjay Enterprises stumbled through the dark and cavernous section of KV27 (King's Valley 27) in Egypt. The other members who followed into the tomb were cursed and suffered a life of never-ending darkness as they were forced to constantly continue to rebuild the tomb to its original condition or die. Now as you pass endless traps set to protect the mummy and prevent anyone from ever reaching the body again, discover for yourselves the real reason that Khepri-Nekhekh was entombed. Unravel the meaning of the hieroglyphs found among the walls of the tomb to vanquish the mummy and then quickly depart, or forever become imprisoned as the others who entered before you have.

The Slaughter House
The second house is called The Slaughter House. Welcome. Ever wonder if you've made a mistake... a mistake you know you were going to regret? This time, it may be too late to decide otherwise. Once you've entered into the realm of the Slaughter House, getting out alive is the only thing on your mind. Forget why you've come in, ignore your friends' pleas for help, close your eyes and run to save your own life! Those of you who remember the Ghostly Manor might be able to recognize this house, but the serial killers who now occupy this dwelling have a whole new interior designer of their own. Long gone are the spirits that once dominated this space; even they are afraid to face those who are inside. Are you brave enough to venture on your own, or does the thought make your skin crawl? Dodge through twisted corridors and ever changing rooms as you encounter those who would like nothing more than to keep you as their friend. Ignore those other victims trapped inside who plead for your help, even if you know who they are! Remember, it's your life on the line here! If you find yourself trapped within the walls, you may just end up as a permanent resident.

Insanity
The third house is titled Insanity. Become one of the inhabitants (inmates) as you progress through this twisted torture of never-ending corridors scare the walls of this meandering maze; clawing and screaming as you do to get away as the ear-piercing, mind shattering boisterous music travels to your brain while the infinitely pulsing, methodical lights challenge your perception and change your senses, deceiving you to see and hear what isn't really there... or is it? Look over your shoulder to find what you never though you'd see. Feel your mind begin to slip as you feel you'll never get out. Terror overcomes you as all your hopes are removed, and all your phobias are finally realized. Around every corner a new fear you never knew you had become conscious; and a few you never thought you could have, begin right here and now. Was it too late to turn around? Or did you and never realize it? In the end everything begins to look the same... or so they say.

The Black Hole
The fourth and final house is called The Black Hole. Enter a realm of never ending darkness; a place where time stands still and passes you by twice as quick. Cross the threshold of time and space, learn what nightmares exist in another dimension. Dare to enter the black hole, the darkest place in the universe and it begins here. As your eyes begin to adjust to attempt to see nothing, your other senses take over and peak your curiosity. Just like the proverbial cat, you find you may have gone too far. As you determine what direction your fate may take you, you discover you've gone too far and the only was out is to continue onward, but which way is it? All directions are equally as dark, and just when you think you see the light, you realize it's not what you were hoping for.
