Fall River Historical Society
The Historical Society is a museum that displays many local antiques from around the time of the Lizzie Borden murder trial. It also has a Lizzie Borden exhibit. The exhibit includes a hairpiece Abby Borden was wearing when she was murdered, the hatchet head that was introduced as evidence at the trial, gruesome photographs of Abby and Andrew's crushed skulls that were used as evidence, the lunch pail in which Lizzie's food was brought to her in prison and many more artifacts. The museum is open from April through Early November. The days and hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
