The Blob (1958)
A house at the corner of South Main Street and 3rd Avenue in Phoenixville, PA (see Phoenixville, PA) was used in the 1958 sci-fi horror film The Blob. The home was used as the home of the fictional Doctor Hallen (Stephen Chase) in the film.
In the movie, main characters Steve Andrews (Steve McQueen) and Jane Martin (Aneta Corsaut) discover an old man (Olin Howland) who has the Blob on his hand.
