The Lost Boys
The original Atlantis Fantasyworld on Pacific Avenue served as the Frog Brothers' comic book store in the 1987 vampire film, The Lost Boys. The original store location was wrecked by the Loma Prieta earthquake that occurred on October 17, 1989. So where the store currently resides is not the location that was used in the film. However, the comic book store still has the same owner, Joe Ferrara. Joe appeared as an extra in the first comic shop scene. He's the guy playing pinball near the entrance of the store. He also has the "Vampires Everywhere!" comic book prop used in the film autographed and framed on the wall of his office.
