Jerome Grand Hotel
A former hospital, this hotel in the ghost town of Jerome, Arizona is also home to a number of ghosts. Some spirits are believed to be from the flu epidemic of 1917. Others are said to be the lingering spirits of mental patients who died in the hospital's asylum. Sighted spirits include a woman in white, a grizzled miner, a maintenance man and a young boy. The hotel's doors have been known to open and close on their own and hotel staff find themselves the targets of paranormal pranks from beyond.
The Elevator
The Jerome Grand has a haunted elevator. The elevator is one of the reported spots that the woman in white appears. The elevator shaft was also the where the body of maintenance man, Claude Harvey was found with a broken neck. His ghost is said to haunt the elevator, basement and stairs.
