Haunted Nashville: Portal to the Otherworld
This Halloween haunted attraction is located in Hermitage, Tennessee near Nashville. It dates back to 2006 as the Antioch Asylum, which took on the theme of an abandoned insane asylum where the inmates have taken over. In 2007, the haunt transformed into the Demon's Den House of Horrors and featured over 30 scenes spread throughout the site. The attraction was set up as an old house, which held both animatronics and live monsters alike throughout its dark corridors and pitch-black maze. In 2009, the group teamed up with another popular haunt, Riddles of Horror, to recreate themselves as Haunted Nashville and relocated from Antioch to nearby Hermitage. As part of the new attraction, Haunted Nashville expanded to offer three separate haunted experiences for fans, foregoing Riddles of Horror for the 2010 season and replacing it with the new attraction, Epidemic!.

The Attractions
Visitors to Haunted Nashville have the option to select from their three attractions or make time to venture through all. They include the House of Distortion, which debuted in 2009 and incorporates local stories with top-notch effects to create "...an all-out assault on the senses."

The more traditional haunted house attraction awaits with Turbidite Manor, which is set in a 19th Century-style house and has gained notoriety throughout the haunt industry for its mix of cutting-edge effects and elaborate sets to create a very spooky experience. The popularity of Turbidite Manor has not gone unnoticed either as the attraction was recently featured on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

Finally, the haunt introduced Epidemic! in the 2010 season, which takes guests into an emergency bio-hazard treatment facility said to contain old electrical equipment built by none other than Nikola Tesla. Those that went in to retrieve the equipment have never returned and now it up to the guests to venture in and activate the "emergency burn" switch to incinerate the facility and its strange occupants.
