Information
The Bell Witch Cave Farm
This property was a portion of the Bell Family Farm in the 1800's, the site of the infamous haunting of The Bell Witch. The area that included the house at the time is not part of this current attraction, but does include a cave that was associated to the haunting. The property that held the family's home is nearby, but on private land and is not accessible to the general public.

The Cave's Role in the Legend
There is a connection between the haunting and this cave. It was said that the children of the Bell family would often come to the cave and explore. During one of these adventures, one of the sons became lodged between two rocks and unable to move. To make matters worse, his light went out on him and he was left in total darkness. After he fought and screamed for some time, the boy felt two cold and clammy hands grasp his ankles and he was suddenly pulled free from the rocks and dragged to the entrance of the cave. There he found members of his family standing in disbelief and heard the very distinct cackle of the entity echo from inside the cave.

The Cave Today
There are still reports of a woman cackling from inside the cave to this day. Visitors have also reported getting very strange anomalies in their pictures that are taken inside the cave, including images of people that were not there when the photograph was taken. Apart from the Bell Witch legend, the Cave also features a coffin that the Native Americans used to place inside. The property around the area was the home of a tribe in the days before the Bell family and related artifacts turn up on a consistent basis there.

Tours
The cave is open to visitors for a guided tour that goes deep inside the cave. Also available to tour on the property is a replica house of the Bell's cabin that was built for its historical significance. The cabin tour includes a full history of the haunting, as well as replicas of all the rooms. Inside the cabin are several artifacts from the time period of the Bell Witch haunting, as well as newspaper articles and other relevant information to the event. Always call ahead before visiting the Bell Witch Cave Farm to check on their hours of operation. It is especially important if there has been inclement weather, as the lot has closed if the parking lot gets too saturated.

Halloween
During the month of October, The Bell Witch Cave Farm holds hayrides, psychic readings and runs concession stands to celebrate Halloween. They also increase their hours of operation during this time.

Sorry to say, but there was no activity here and we didnt even feel the presence of anything either, doesnt mean its not haunted. And for those who do not know this, the cave was used by indians aswell.
