The Location
This museum is located next to the Burying Point Cemetery in which Salem Witch Trial Judge John Hathorne is buried. It is one of many museums in Salem dedicated to the history of the Salem Witch Trials. It also delves slightly into Salem's history as a port city. The museum also features replicas of famous local gravestones, including Witch Trial Judge John Hathorne's. Guests are encouraged to do their own grave-rubbings with the replicas since the original gravestones are in a fragile state.
