The status of this Halloween haunted attraction is currently unknown. There has been no information posted beyond the 2008 season and is unclear if it was open beyond that point. Haunted House
This Halloween haunted attraction is located in Bismarck, North Dakota and has been thrilling guests for a decade. The Haunted House got its start in 1998 as a simple home haunt in the garage of resident Sally Dasinger and her family and has been growing steadily ever since. At one point in its history, it was known locally as the Death on Dominion haunted house, but changed names as it grew in size and quality.
Now set at the deserted Wilhelm Building in downtown Bismarck, the haunt encapsulates hundreds of hours of hard work for the Dasinger family. However, all the work they put in goes to a good cause as the proceeds are donated to the local Bismarck-Mandan Symphony.
The Attraction
The Haunted House is a standard haunted house attraction, featuring all sorts of monsters and scary scenes, including an elaborate cemetery sequence. The haunt is geared towards all ages, but has special hours for their younger audience when they can tour the Halloween attraction with the lights on.
2008 Information
The haunt is open from 6:00-7:00 P.M. with the lights on for younger crowds, and 7:00-9:00 P.M. with the lights out for the older audience on October 28, 29, and 30th. On Halloween night, Haunted House extends its hours with the lights on between the hours of 5:00-7:00 P.M. and 7:00-11:00 P.M. with the lights off.
