Tor Johnson
The grave of Swedish pro-wrestler and B-movie actor, Tor Johnson lies in this cemetery. Tor's distinctive physical appearance led to his face being used for monster masks that continue to be popular in sales. Tor is known for his roles in films such as Plan 9 from Outer Space, Bride of the Monster, Night of the Ghouls, The Unearthly, Ghost Catchers, The Canterville Ghost, Abbott and Costello in the Foreign Legion, Houdini, and The Beast of Yucca Flats. Tor's wrestling name was "The Swedish Angel", yet he was a villainous wrestler.
Noble Johnson
Actor. Noble appeared in The Mummy (1932), King Kong (1933), The Son of Kong, Mummy's Boys and The Ghost Breakers. In King Kong and The Son of Kong Noble played the role of the Chieftan of Skull Island.
Robert Bice
Actor Robert Bice is interred here. He appeared in the films It, The Terror from Beyond Space and The Ghost and the Guest, but was primarily known for his work in Westerns.
Edmund Gilbert
Actor who provided voices for many animated characters as well as appearing in live action films. Edmund provided the voice of Metlar, the lead monster of The Inhumanoids animated series and film. He also lent his voice to The Transformers, G.I. Joe, Tailspin, Duck Tales, Bravestarr, The Little Mermaid, The Toxic Crusaders, The Pirates of Dark Water, Animaniacs, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Gargoyles, Project G.e.e.K.e.R., Freakazoid, Duckman, A Pup Named Scooby Doo and a couple of Scooby Doo movies.
The Manson Murders
George Spahn is buried in this cemetery. He owned the Spahn Ranch. The ranch was home to the Manson Family. Lynette "Squeeky" Fromme had sex with George Spahn in exchange for Charles Manson and his followers being able to live at the ranch. |
