I'm happy to announce that our latest Facebook venture is now live - Dark Destinations! The new application is a companion piece of our existing Dark Destinations here on the site, but allows Facebook users to explore our compilation of mysterious and macabre locations. In addition, we also push out either the Dark Destination of the Day or a user's dark traveler map (that displays all the creepy little sideroads that they have visited) to their profile page. Users can link up their accounts here at TheCabinet and add or edit locations, images, comments, ratings and everything else offered here at the site. This new application will be dynamic and ideally take advantage of the social networking aspects of Facebook in the very near future, something that will also be added on here.
It is our hope that offering this extra feed into our content of Dark Destinations opens it up to a much wider audience and will only add to the popularity of the section. If you are interested in what its other incarnation looks like, please check it out!
