'Yeti prints' found near Everest
BBC News has this report on the discovery of three footprints near Mount Everest that match the description of the legendary creature known as the Yeti or Abominable Snowman that has been the subject of sightings and intrigue for hundreds of years. Josh Gates and the Sci-fi documentary Destination Truth made the discovery and will feature the tracks on an upcoming episode.

The Legend of La Llorona
This article from the El Defensor Chieftain explores the New Mexico legend of the La Llorona, the spirit of a woman that is seen around the Rio Grande area, apparently searching for her lost children.

Hammond Castle setting for mystery novel
An article from the Gloucester Daily Times looks at the influence of Gloucester, Massachusetts and its reputedly haunted Hammond Castle had on author John Dandola and his book, Dead by All Appearances, which is set at the castle itself.

Jefferson, known as a great place for B&Bs, is also billed as the most haunted in Texas.
The ghosts and legends of Jefferson, Texas are the feature of this article from the Austin American-Statesman.

Ghosts at Belchertown Library Investigated
WSHM-TV filed this report on the Clapp Memorial Library in Belchertown, Massachusetts, which was recently the site of a paranormal investigation by members of The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS), whose investigations are regularly seen on the Sci-fi Channel series, Ghost Hunters.

The beast is back...
Sun Journal has this write-up on the 2006 discovery of a corpse of a strange animal; many believed to be the body of the mythical Chupacabra, in Turner, Maine. DNA testing ultimately proved the animal was a dog, but the attention the case gathered was enough to garner the interest of the new television documentary, MonsterQuest.

Chester pub in most haunted guide
An article from the Wrexham Evening Leader reports on The George and Dragon pub in Chester, England. The reportedly haunted pub is being featured on the new site, Haunted Hotel Guide, which lists haunted hotels throughout the United Kingdom.

Looking for Bigfoot
Sun Journal also follows a local Bigfoot hunter who focuses his efforts on tracking the elusive Sasquatch to the remote woods of Maine.
