Dark travel destinations in the news include the fireballs of the Mekong River, UFOs in Florida and conference in Maryland, the Hornet Spook Light, the Shanley Hotel in New York, and Portland's Pittock Mansion.  The haunted legends of the cities or areas Washington D.C., southern California,Sleepy Hollow, southern Illinois, Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Hudson Valley, and the Woodlands area of Texas.  In addition, listing of Halloween events and ghost tours across the United States.  These articles appeared today in newspapers and magazines around the world and are featured here as a companion to our Dark Destinations.  As always, if you notice an article we missed, please send it to us using the link on the bottom of the page.
