Dark tourist destinations in the news include haunted hotels, the paranormal legends of the Great Lakes, Ohio's Punderson Manor State Park Resort, Eastern State Penitentiary, Ohio's Douglas County, the RMS Queen Mary, haunted lodge in Massachusetts, and several ghost tours and Halloween haunts around the United States and Canada.  These articles appeared today in newspapers and magazines around the world and are featured here as a companion to our Dark Destinations.  As always, if you notice an article we missed, please send it to us using the link on the bottom of the page. Ghostly gathering in Euclid / St. Paul's An article from the St. Petersburg Times features the Euclid-St. Paul's Haunted Hike in St. Petersburg, Florida. Two Halloween Events Now Registering The Washington Historical Society is now registering guests for their Haunted Washington, a Spirited Tour and Oddfellows Cemetery Tour in Washington, Missouri, according to this report from Missourian Publishing. Frights abundant in Athens The Huntsville Times has these offerings of Halloween events in Athens, Alabama. Zombies prepare to attack Bridgeton Zoo for Fright Night The Cohanzick Zoo in Bridgeton, New Jersey is gearing up for their second annual Halloween celebration, Fright Night, according to this report from the Press of Atlantic City. Friendly Frights Found On Front Range CBS4Denver has this write-up on Halloween events around Colorado.
