The flame from a cigarette lighter was the only light that was available in the room. Johnnie moved it over and touched a candle with it, and then another. Soon the room was illuminated by the candles that were all about the small room. It was a rather interesting room as it had four walls, one window, and what appeared to be no door. There were shelves on three of the walls with various glass bottles and items. On the floor were mattresses that looked like they had been placed there, and two small tables, on the tops of them were the torches, bottles, scales, and the spoons. Johnnie reached into his bag that he was carrying and pulled out the black bag. Inside were needles, bleach, and a nylon cord.
The group got into their ready positions, Pep and Minnie got out the weed, Johnnie and Marky began to mix and shoot, and Toni opened her purse and took out a glass vial and mirror. Kaylei moved over to where Jester was sitting and leaned over to talk to him.
“How come you’re not doing?” she asked.
“Just not into all that stuff, you know? I guess there are a lot better ways to have a good time.”
“I know what you mean.”
“What about you, did you do anything where you come from?”
“Well, my friends were into a lot of that stuff, and it made them screwed up. Mostly everyone drank and went to the bars on weekend. But that was about that.”
“Kinda like us here.” She flashed that bright smiled at him again. Kaylei then turned and reached into her purse and pulled out a bottle. It was a small, brown bottle of peach brandy.
“I keep this in case of emergency.”
“Sweet deal!” she handed the bottle to Jester, who insisted that she take the first pull. When she did, she passed to him. He gladly slugged a hit off of the bottle.

“What do you suppose this place was used for?” Toni asked.
“Its awful strange that a house this size would have a place like this in it. I mean you really cant use this for much seeing as the only way in is the window.” Minnie replied.
“Maybe someone kept their mistress here?” Pep said.
“Or a lunatic relative…” Johnnie stated.
“Well, the walls do look rather padded.” Marky said.
“Maybe we’re using it for what it was designed for?” Toni said.
“Yeah, what if this was like an opium den for back in the old days when they didn’t like any of that. Back when they would kill people for using drugs.” Torch said.
“They have an awful lot of bottles in here for an opium den. Wonder what’s in these things.”
“Perhaps some good mess!”
“In a room with no doors?”
“Maybe its things they don’t want other people to touch?” Jester asked. Toni and Johnnie began to explore the shelf a lot more closely.
“No labels on any of this stuff…I don’t get it.” Johnnie mentioned.
“Lets see what this says.” Marky stated as he held up a paper of some sort. The contents read as Cavity Fluid, Formaldehyde, two stitching kits, and some equipment that they did not know what its functions were. Apparently, a shopping list for the business. Marky dropped the letter back on the shelf, and dust swarmed around. He then noticed something else on the shelf. Digging his finger under the border of it, he lifted it, and began to wipe it off.
“Oh, crap. Check this out.” The group walked over and saw what Mark had in his hands.
“What the hell is that, a picture?”
“Looks like a clown, I think.”
“One of those jack-in-the-boxes things?”
“It’s a Teramitsu...” Kaylei stated. The group glanced back puzzled.”…kind of like a jester, but its Japanese culture.”
“You mean that I have my face on a painting? Cute.”
“It’s not a painting, Jester. It is an Ouija board.” Marky immediately dropped the board.
“No damn way, man!! I aint touching one of those things!”
“Easy, Marky. And chill the freak out, remember to be QUIET!!”
“Yeah, well, I got news for you. I saw the Exorcist, man. I saw what that board did to that chick and that was a true damn story. You aint gonna get another true damn story with me.”
“Chill out, Marky. It wasn’t that part of the story that was true, it was the priest in Iran that was true.” Jester said. Marky chilled and just walked away from the board. Silence again, this time broken by what sounded like footsteps. Everyone’s eyes locked on the ceiling. Another..another….another. Jester signaled to Johnnie to round up and head out the window. Johnnie nodded. The footsteps stopped. Kaylei walked to the window to see if the police had returned. She looked but would have been unable to see the driveway anyhow. A loud, earth shattering bang, resonated through the room.
“What the duke is that??” Toni whispered.
“See? I told you that board was tr..”Marky said
“..Shut it, Marky. We gotta get out of here.”Johnnie yelled.
Again…again…again. It sounded like it was coming on the other side of the wall. Jester motioned to the window and began hoisting people out of the room. Johnnie and Toni began to scramble to clean their respective substance up in a hurry. The banging seemed to get louder and louder, and there was another sound mixed in with the bang: splintering wood. This was definitely not the cops. Toni, in her scramble to save her precious cocaine, knocked over a candle that set fire to Johnnie’s stash and bags. Johnnie became enraged and began swearing at her at the top of his lungs. The crashes were closer than ever, and now you could see the impact on the wall. Jester was still motioning to the window for Toni to come to him, but she waited with Johnnie. Just then, a small part of the wall exploded, sending pieces of wood flying, and the head of a double-bit axe came through the wall. Johnnie screamed for Jester and Toni to get out. Jester jumped up and out the window, Toni stayed. Again and again the axe hit the wall, and then kicks were made to the wall, until a hole large enough for the intruder was made. He entered the room.
A big, burly man with a long dirty beard came into the light holding the axe with both hands. Johnnie saw in the candlelight that the axe’s bit had caked on bloodstains. He looked like a nightmarish version of Santa Claus, only this man was dressed in tethered rags, which stunk severely of whiskey. His hair was flecked with the white of the plaster that he broke through to get to them. His fixed his eyes on Toni.
“Pigs!!!” he shouted at her as he charged with axe raised. Johnnie squirted the lighter fluid that he had on the table into the man’s eyes. His screams echoed throughout the room, shaking the glass bottles on the shelves.
“Screwed pig, is what you are.” Johnnie said as he tossed the candle into the man’s beard. He immediately ignited into a ball of flames. The man howled in agony as he bumped around the room for his would-be victims.
His tethered rags instantly became a cloak of flames. As he banged into the shelves, the bottles fell to the floor and shattered. His axe fell to the floor as well with a sickening thud, the bit hitting the solid concrete. Johnnie ran for the window and shot Toni up first. The flaming man moved towards them, but Toni was not all the way out yet. Johnnie was going to have to drop her as the man was getting too close. That was until Jester grabbed on to the back of her jacket and yanked her out. Toni clung to him and ran to safety. Jester returned to help Johnnie. Jester stuck his torso into the window, and held both arms down to Johnnie, who was being chased by the man, now totally in flames. The shelves and the mattresses were now going up, and the liquid that was in the bottles ignited.
“Johnnie! Over here!!!” Jester yelled. Johnnie tried making his way to where Jester was, but there were flames all over the room now. The man was standing directly in between the window and Johnnie, and the room was now starting to fill with noxious smoke from the liquids.
“Yank this!” Johnnie yelled as he reached down and picked up the axe that the man used to break the wall. In one swift motion, Johnnie swung the axe over his head, and planted it between the man’s eyes.
The shaft of the axe began to catch fire as the man dropped to his knees, and then fell over backwards onto the flaming mattresses. Johnnie then ran to Jester, who hoisted him up and out of there. As they were about to ran for the road, Jester reached down on the lawn and picked up a propane torch that Marky used to cook the heroin. Jester tossed it into the window and ran with Johnnie. The explosion blew out the basement windows, sending glass flying all over the yard. As the two of them met up with the rest of the group, they ran down the gravel road to the gate, which they quickly opened. The group then locked the gate and ran down Monson Lane as fast as hell. As they were about to enter Marky’s van, they heard the sounds of fire trucks and cop cars.
“Disperse!!!” Johnnie yelled.

The Tramps scattered like mice, and as Jester was about to run, Kaylei grabbed his arm, and pinned a long, hot kiss on him.
“I’ll be seeing you.” She said to him.
“Count on it.” Jester replied. They parted ways, as the fire engines appeared. Officers got out and pushed open the gates to let the engines in. As they got to the mansion, the basement windows were shooting flames. The men worked fast to snuff out the raging flames, and it seemed that they had gotten it under control.
