As Mark and Johnnie jumped the tall steel fence, they rushed over to the front gate to unlock it. Looking all around to make sure that no one was watching them, they slowly opened the gate. It vibrated and squeaked on its hinges as it swung open enough to let the rest of them in. One by one they shuffled through the gates and then closed it shut. Mark and Johnnie lead the way, as usual. Johnnie and Mark’s friends were punk rockers, most of them in leather-clad pants and donning outrageous hairstyles. The group followed the gravel driveway that seemed to go on for miles. It began at the gate and stretched beyond the woods. Much of the road that they were on was overgrown with pieces of the woods. The sounds of the creatures of the night could be heard throughout the woods. Many of the group members began to look around to see if anyone was coming, as it was hard to tell if someone was walking through the woods, or if it was just an animal.
“Johnnie, man, are you sure that this is a good idea? I don’t think anyone has been down here in ages.” Steam, one of the group members asked.
“Steam, stifle that mess. And keep your freakin’ voice down, man. You want us all bagged? ” Johnnie yelled. “All right, man, jesus!”
“Listen…this goes for any one of you zip-heads. If you don’t want to get on and do this, you know where the damn gate is. Screw, this crew doesn’t need pussies, unless they belong to a chick. Are we clear?” No one seemed to object at the time.

As the group reached the clearing a large shimmery lawn appeared before them. It was lit by some sort of Xenon-vapor lights behind what appeared to be a very large, old, mausoleum. The group stopped and stared for what seemed like an eternity. “This is the deal, chaps. We go in through a window in the basement that Marky and I found earlier this week.”
“You want us to go in through a basement window in THAT place?” Torch asked.
“Where’s your balls, Torch?” Marky asked.
“Right where they are supposed to be, between my heart and my brain, but even my common sense tells me that we aren’t going into the basement of some freakin’ funeral parlor in the middle of the night. Are you dusted, or what?!” Johnnie walked over to Torch.
“Too bad, and I thought that The Torch had a lot more to offer than this. Shame that you wont be joining us, Torch. You know, if you hurry now, you just might get to Tony DeChampa’s before the opiate withdrawal sets in. You’ll get there a shivering, damn mess, like you did the last time, and remember what he did then?”
“Come on, Johnnie, stop holding that mess over a dude’s head. You know that w/d’s aint nothing to kid around with, man.” Jester said, turning to Torch he said, ” Hey, dude, I got you covered in case something happens, ok?” Jester then opened his hand to display two 80mg Oxycontins.
“You are the freakin’ man, Jester!” Torch added.
“Ok, if you ladies are done sucking each other’s dinks, can we get in this joint before its daylight?”
“After you, Prince of Sod.” Jester said. Johnnie shook his head.
“Something about this place gives me the creeps.” Toni stated.
“Something about every place gives you the creeps, Toni. Even your own damn house.” Johnnie said.
“Sod you, you low-life wastoid!” Toni yelled.
“Hey, hemorrhoids, did we forget the volume rule?” Jester asked.
“Sorry, ok!” Toni shouted to Jester.
“No, don’t mention it to me, mention it to them…” Jester pointed in the direction of headlights that appeared further down the gravel road than they had traveled. A back entrance? Where was it coming from? Within in seconds, the group scattered and hid in the nearby woods.

The major reason for the bright lights was the spotlight that was shining out of the car doors; A police car. What the hell was the police doing in there? They rounded the corner that went off further into the woods past the mansion and came towards the front of the mausoleum that the group was standing in front of not even a moment before. It was a black-and-white, with two officers inside of it, shining the spotlight out the window. The patrol car slowed to a stop out in front of the large Victorian mansion, and the driver got out of the car. He was a large, well-built man with broad shoulders and a menacing flat-top haircut. He looked like a Marine that could take on a small country on his own. He walked around to the front of the cruiser and began walking on the front lawn towards the house. The other officer soon exited the vehicle and walked towards the first officer. They began to converse with each other but were too far away for the group to hear them. The big officer turned towards the woods and began to yell.
“Now, listen up. We know that there was someone here earlier on this evening, and we are going to give you all a little notice. If any of you are caught damn around on this property, you are going to do an automatic 2 years in Juvenile Hall. This is not fun and games. We are not here to bother anyone, we don’t want anyone getting hurt messing around in places that they shouldn’t be in. I know that you may still be out there, and I give you an opportunity to go right now while you can…”
No one even breathed.
“…Ok. So this means that if we catch you, give your soul to your God, because your ass is ours. Understood? Your warning has been issued. Ted?” He motioned to the car, and the second officer and the two of them began to walk towards the cruiser. The second cop then stopped and said something to the other police officer, who then turned and looked into the woods, in the direction of where the group was hiding. Kaylei, one of the group members began to stand, when Jester grabbed her and held her there. Both officers made their way towards the woods. No damn way that they could know that we are here, no way!!! Johnnie thought. As the officers got closer and closer, the group held their breath. The second officer was within five yards of Marky, Kaylei, and Jester. Then four…three…two…he stopped. Both of them put their heads down. The sounds of the rustling and snapping under his shoes stopped, and then there was another ripping sound. Jester froze trying to identify the sound’s origin, and then the answer hit him. A gentle stream of water began trickling onto the leaves, and towards Jester. The sound changed to a tapping of water on leather. When the officer was finished, he shook, zipped up, and returned to the cruiser with the big officer. The doors slammed, and the car started in reverse towards the driveway and then reversed direction. Seconds later they were gone, but the group waited about five minutes before deciding to emerge.

Everyone was staring at Jester. His Mohawk was now matted and dampened. His leather jacket dripping wet, and glistening in the moonlight. The group began chuckling and holding back laughter waiting for the Great One to say something.
“…I just don’t have the words.” Jester said. The laughter exploded.
After the rousing was over, the group returned to their mission of entry into the huge mausoleum, and mansion. The house had to have over 35 rooms, and it had a large second-floor balcony that ran the entire length of the house. As they moved towards the area between the house and the mausoleum, Marky and Johnnie went ahead and looked for the window in the basement. They went out of sight for a quick second, and Jester checked in with the rest of the group.
“How’s everyone doing? Everyone ok?” the group checked back. Kaylei was doing great and enjoying the trip, Torch was good, Pep and Minnie were just along for some fun, and then there was Toni…well, Toni was never doing good. But she looked good. While Jester was looking at the rest of the group, he felt something cradle his hand. It was Kaylei’s. She looked at him and smiled brightly.
In the moonlight, she was a work of art. She was a beautiful Asian girl, with green eyes, long jet black hair with blonde streaks in it, and a killer body. Kaylei was from Thailand, but she was heavily into the gothic lifestyle. Jester was amazed to look at her, and how at home she looked in this setting. Jester smiled back and squeezed her hand tightly in return. Marky appeared out of the dark and motioned everyone towards the entry point. Score one for The Tramps. One by one, they made their way towards the window where Johnnie was waiting to help the ladies inside. When the last of them were inside, Marky jumped in and closed the window.
