Hell, Michigan that is! The community of Hell, Michigan has made a living out of their town’s name for many years. Tourists regularly go to Hell for fun activities and a chance to pick up amusing souvenirs of their time there. It is also said that it is Halloween all year round in Hell. Screams Ice Cream and Halloween store has toppings for your sundae inside an actual coffin and sells Halloween merchandise during all four seasons.
During the month of October, Screams also hosts "Hell-O-Holloweekends" with live entertainment and Halloween activities for kids. You can also visit the dam in Hell and stop for lunch at Smitty’s Dam Site Inn for lunch or dinner while you are at it. You can purchase postcards and have them properly scorched and mailed to friends and family from Hell. Hell also offers a wedding chapel for those wanting to start their marriage in Hell.
I’ve been told by a few people during my life that I will go to Hell for being a fan of horror movies and celebrating Halloween (as well as my music listening choices, etc, etc.). . One of these years I might just have to head to Michigan and prove them right.
