Casey and I are back after a bit of a break from blogging. Casey's been travelling and gathering new photos, information and experiences to share at Dark Destinations. I've been caught up with other projects and life-stuff, including doing makeup FX work for a horror/sci-fi/comedy a friend of mine is shooting in the Rochester/Buffalo NY area. We should be back to blogging twice weekly again.
During our blog break the 120th anniversary of the death of Elizabeth Bell Powell. As a youth, Elizabeth and her family were tormented by a spirit referred to as the Bell Witch. The infamous haunting lasted for years and resulted in the death of Elizabeth's father. She eventually moved away from the family home in Tennessee and relocated to Mississippi. Some claim that the Bell Witch pursued Elizabeth to her new home and continued to torment her until she died from natural causes in her 80s.
At Long Branch Cemetery in Water Valley, MS dark travellers will find the final resting place of Elizabeth.
